Diablo 4's campaign features an epic, dark narrative where the terrifying Lilith wreaks havoc amidst the conflict between angels and demons. In addition, there are plenty of post-campaign activities in Diablo 4 such as leveling up a character to level 50 and then level 70, making it easier to face stronger enemies. Collector-type players can hunt down all Dungeon Aspects scattered throughout Diablo 4's 115 side dungeons. Those looking for a higher risk can challenge Diablo 4's Nightmare Dungeons and test how powerful their builds are.

To help other Diablo 4 players, Reddit user SuppressiveFire made a chart summarizing the enemy types, first and second-area objectives, and bosses of the Nightmare Dungeons. Along with Capstone Dungeons, Nightmare Dungeons present the toughest challenges in the Diablo 4 endgame. Nightmare Dungeons are divided into different levels, which affects the rewards the Diablo 4 player can get, including higher-quality loot. An example of a Nightmare Dungeon listed by SuppressiveFire is Aldurwood, where the player encounters Fallens and Demons. The only area objective is to slay 3 Aldurkin, while the boss is Den's Mother. This huge lycanthrope deals a lot of area damage, stuns, and uses long-range melee attacks that can summon 8-foot-tall werewolves.
In addition to the high challenge, Nightmare Dungeons in Diablo 4 have another special feature: completing one of these dungeons is the only way to upgrade Paragon Glyphs. Paragon Glyphs in Diablo 4 are items that can be inserted into special Glyph Sockets on Paragon Boards. These Glyphs can be magical or rare and are class-specific. Nightmare Dungeons also have a higher chance of players finding Legendary or Unique items, which are the most wanted items by Diablo 4 players.
While Nightmare Dungeons will continue to be one of Diablo 4's most challenging activities, Blizzard's action RPG is gearing up to start the season system. Some new features await in Diablo 4 Season 4, which has been named Season of the Malignant, including Malignant Tunnels. In this new type of dungeon, Diablo 4 players can target-farm specific Malignant Hearts and make their characters even more powerful.
One fan of Diablo 4 decided to give players of Blizzard's smash-hit action RPG a helping hand, creating a map highlighting all of the side quests that lead to dungeons in the game. Following Judge Jaqueline Scott Corley's ruling in favor of Microsoft's acquisition of Activision earlier this week some gamers had been speculating about the possibility of Xbox bringing Diablo 4 to Game Pass, though there don't appear to be any plans to D4 materials do so at the moment.
