I was the guild's leader for two years. I've been there, done that. In the last days before WoW cataclysm Gold was revealed and I played a few card games in my youth such as Yu-Gi-Oh as well as Blizzard. It wasn't Magic(:The Gathering) I was actually casual. I was so relaxed when playing Blizzard Yu-Gi-Oh in a way where you only want to look at the cards. We'd like to make up our own rules like children do. Then WoW Cataclysm Classic was announced and I thought "This is a perfect time to make the switch". The WoW game was a little past for me. I was in search of something different and it turned out to be an interesting change. I also designed my own game of cards and board games which I funded through the kickstarter platform, which is why I'm naturally drawn to card games.
Reddit user whose name is of jonahmilo_ posed an inquiry that I was planning to ask what is the origin of your Nic Amaz originate from? Is it as simple as the beginning of an amazing story?
Yes. Actually, I've mentioned that on stream earlier. While I was contemplating the name of a user I thought "oh incredible Jason sounds cool" however, it turned out to be too long, so let's reduce it. It should be a single word, so let me call myself Amazon and then I realized out that Amazon was a different word which was ridiculous and people said "oh you're just so boring" and I thought "ok okay, I'll change it to"amaz". Amaz is pretty cool, so that's where it got its name.
I've heard you were once an HoN player Do you have plans to return to HoN full-time or do you plan to keep playing WoW Cataclysm Classic? Perhaps both?
I was an HoN player. I played at times, about 1900 in mmr. I was in the upper proportion of players taking part in this game. The problem with HoN is that it's just not as popular. The HoN community isn't as large or as well-developed. This isn't to say that we are a bad company, however it appears that their direction is everywhere. They're creating a brand new model, they're not focused on balance, they aren't focused on the social aspects of it. It's true, if it were League (of Legends) I'm pretty certain I would have been interested in it, but at the moment I'm pretty certain I'm going stay with WoW Cataclysm Classic. Two games is quite a lot of work. For instance, Artosis has two games, it's amazing how busy he is. Therefore, I'll probably stick to WoW Cataclysm Classic for now.
Redditor JayBoiiz asks how many hours you worked before DreamHack?
I'm sure I spent for a full day prior to DreamHack which is that was about five hours, playing around with decks, because this is the nature of tournaments. It's not possible to make yourself train for one week. Then you'll suddenly be able to do well as if you were building basics that you didn't have when you first started playing WoW Cataclysm Classic. You must keep your mind clear. It is important to remember that in the course of a tournament, you are usually in control of your movements. It is common to see a move and decide to execute it. You spend a long time contemplating other moves but typically the first one you think of is the one you decide to execute. Therefore, you must be aware of what the best strategies are for just tournaments.Image from the DreamHack Bucharest stream. So you're saying that in WoW Cataclysm Classic, it's like being able to remember muscle movements? Repeating something over again and executing the right moves, or being in that situation repeatedly will that aid you?
It's true that it can help but there aren't any two different games within WoW Cataclysm Classic that are identically played. Therefore, the more you practice the better you are able to handle a particular scenario, which means to stay cool. People think that there are just three hundred cards and every game is exactly the same. It's not. There are lots of small choices which can make or break a game. I am an advocate of each cheap WoW cataclysm Gold game not being a winner, not due to R.N.G (random numbers generator) but because of smart choices and good decisions the majority of times you will finish the tournament winning. I made a few mistakes during my Bucharest fourth round against Gaara which is why I was unable to win. I was aware of it, and I'm sad in a way, however I am aware that I made tiny mistakes and must improve. Keep working on it.
